Pope Francis, Archbishop Cordileone, and Fr. Mazza are all urging us to pray the rosary during this month of October. Conclude the recitation of the Rosary with the ancient invocation “Sub Tuum Praesidium”, and with the prayer to St. Michael Archangel.

The liturgical feast of Our Lady of the Rosary is celebrated annually on October 7th.  It was instituted to honor the Blessed Virgin Mary in gratitude for the protection that she gives the Church in answer to the praying of the Rosary by the faithful. ....

What a wonderful way to support each other as Catholics in this world that is increasingly hostile to our faith and values. During the summer the room will be open whenever the church is open so you can borrow and return the library materials. 

Our May rosary event in honor of Our Lady was a huge success with an estimated 50+ rosaries given away! Donations are still accepted also.  We definitely will need more rosaries for our next give-away!

On May 4 and 5, we celebrated with 33 of our young parishioners, who received communion for the first time.  The students and their families will gather and attend the 9:30 Mass this weekend, then share stories at a special breakfast.  Please keep them in your prayers as they continue to grow in faith.  Pray, also, for their parents and families, who support and guide them on their journey.

The Mass holds the place of the supreme act of worship in the Church. We will have an opportunity to more deeply appreciate it during our upcoming parish small group study this Lent.
