September 26, 2021 - The Twenty-sixth Sunday in Ordinary Time
September24,2021
My dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Many know that the word “gospel” means “good news.” As Christians, we rejoice in living and sharing the good news of the gospel to as many as possible. Since March of 2020, we have all born the burden of the bad news of the pandemic. I will always remember that our last normal weekend was the one right before St. Patrick’s Day in 2020. Since then we have struggled to restore our regular schedule of worship and our various apostolates. Now are ready to move back to our full Mass schedule. Let us all give thanks to God.
On the weekend of October 2-3, the full Mass schedule will be restored. That means that each weekend there will be in addition to the 5pm Mass on Saturdays and the 9:30am Mass, livestreamed, and the 4pm Traditional Latin Mass, we will again have the options of the 7:30am and 11:30am Masses. This is in answer to many prayers. Fr. James MacDonald will once again celebrate a Mass on most weekends. Weekday Masses will be not only Mondays through Fridays at 8:15am, but on Saturdays as well, starting October 2.
This is a very happy time for all of us. To celebrate the “good news”, hospitality will be provided after all the Masses October 2-3. Please get the word out to all those you know to come back to this little community of Faith. As we begin the month of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary, let us re-consecrate ourselves to her Immaculate Heart. We know that in the end her Immaculate Heart will triumph, as she promised us at Fatima. “Dear Lady of Fatima, we come on bended knees. We beg your intercession for peace and unity.”
Yours in her Immaculate Heart, Fr. Mark G. Mazza, Pastor
