Plan to stay after Mass next week for refreshments and the kick-off session of our Lenten 2019 study program!
Our parish will be launching an exciting
Catholic Study program on the Mass for Lent 2019 taught by one of the most effective Catholic evangelists today, Bishop Robert Barron. Last year in the parish survey we asked for an opportunity to learn more about our faith and to share with each other. This is it! Our kick-off is the weekend of March 2/3 when we will have an opportunity to view the first teaching video, “A Privileged Encounter”. This will be shown in St. Michael’s Hall after all the Masses (including Saturday evening) so we can get a flavor of what the series is like. The next 5 videos in the series will be experienced in a small group, so we can dig deeper into the content and apply what we are learning. Can’t make it to the kick-off to see the first video? No worries! The first video (not the rest) is actually available free online, mass.wordonfire.org. And you will learn plenty from the subsequent videos in your small group even if you haven’t seen the first one. Sign-up for the small groups, offered at various times, can be made on the paper registration form in the today’s bulletin, or next week at the kick-off session, or online at
ihmbelmont.org/small-group-study.
There is no charge.
