BELIEVE, BELONG, BUILD
Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish warmly and cordially welcomes you in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ, our Divine Lord and Savior. We proudly profess our Roman Catholic Faith, confident in the promise of Our Lord at the Ascension (Mt. 28:20): “. . .Behold I am with you all days even unto the consummation of the world.” Read about the Greatest Story Ever Told in the New Testament, especially in the Acts of the Apostles. What happened then happens now (Acts 2:42): “And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teachings and fellowship, to the breaking of the bread, and the prayers.” “The apostles’ teachings” are summed up in the official Catechism of the Catholic Church. Join us at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass (“the breaking of the bread”), offered daily on our altar at the Lord’s command, in prayer, in study of the Faith, in our fellowship, and in service to all in our community.
We aim to live in the love and joy of Christ and bring that love and joy to others. I testify that there are many fine families, children, and adults in this parish. Read more about us on our website. Visitors are always welcome. If you are at Mass, I woulTitled be glad to meet you personally. Those interested in learning more about the Catholic Faith are encouraged to contact our RCIA director.
Catholics who are new to the Parish, are invited to go to our registration page and register with us.
Yours in the Immaculate Heart of Mary,
Fr. Mark G Mazza, Pastor
Advent is a time for us to stand united in the faith. The reading from Romans 15:5-6 reminds us: “May the God of endurance and encouragement grant you to think in harmony with one another, in keeping with Christ Jesus, that with one accord you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Sadly there can develop disunity in the Church from within in addition to the disunity outside its boundaries. This is not the mind of Christ.
Clearly the temptation to divide up the Church must have existed in the first century of Christianity as is indicated in the above quoted letter of St. Paul to the Romans, where he exhorts the Catholics in Rome to stand together in Christ. Always, at the center is our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. If we are united to Him we cannot fail. ...

So glad you are part of our family of faith!
I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me; and the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.
-Galatians 2:20
Simbang Gabi (meaning evening Mass), is a Christmas Novena to the Blessed Mother in preparation and welcoming of the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ. This celebration of faith strengthens the bonds between parishes and cultures, and offers a deeper spiritual experience leading to a more meaningful Christmas season for all. The first of the nine Masses will be held at St. Luke’s Church in Foster City on December 15th with a dinner reception following the Mass. Please see enclosed flyer for more information.
